Daniel is networker, consultant, coach, writer and speaker. His topics are international business-relations, as well as cross-border and cross-cultural marketing- and communication-issues. He focuses on the emerging markets in Africa, Arabia and Asia, and he is particularly involved in China and Japan. Daniel writes regularly for Switzerland’s leading economic newspaper «Handelszeitung» and several tourism- and travel-industry publications. Based on his international network of corporate entities, global investors and real-estate owners, Daniel is also involved in Boutique Investment- and Development-Consultancy, serving institutional clients, international developers and hospitality companies.

During his career, he has been involved in the global tourism-industries for more than four decades. Originally from Switzerland, Daniel worked in total 13 years in England, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, and Shanghai, China. Until the mid-80ies, he was engaged with Kuoni Travel, Switzerland Tourism and six years with a group-tour operator in Tokyo. In 1987, he co-founded MCI in Geneva, today the leading international congress- & association-management group. And from 1998-2006, he was Founder and Managing Director of the event management agency Spectrum (Zurich, New York). In 2016, he joined Luxury Capital Partners as Associate Partner / Hospitality Investment.
