Daniel Tschudy is speaker, writer and consultant in and about the global tourism-, hospitality- and event-industries. His topics include international business-relations, as well as cross-border & cross-cultural marketing- and communication-issues. One of his topics is crisis management, and how to talk well, for example during the present virus epidemic, both internally and to the public.

Originally from Switzerland, Daniel worked in total 13 years in Canada, Germany, France, Japan, and China. Until the mid-80ies, he was engaged with Kuoni Travel, Switzerland Tourism and six years with a tour operator in Tokyo. In 1987, he co-founded MCI in Geneva, today the leading international congress- & association-management group. From 1998 to 2006, he created and led the event management agency Spectrum (Zurich, New York).

Today, Daniel speaks at Business Events and Hospitality Schools, he writes regularly for Switzerland’s leading economic newspaper «Handelszeitung», and he publishes in several tourism- and hospitality-magazines. Japan and China remain regular topics in his work, as well as global leadership and corporate communication.
